The hand hoe is the most popular type of agricultural hand tool used in the country, though of different design and shape varying from region to region. In general this simple implement has a sharp blade which cuts a layer of soil and uproots the weeds. It has been shown that the repeated use of this hoe on the field results in wear, tear and loose sharpness of blade.
