TZS 300: 2010 Road vehicles — Retro-reflective registration plates for motor vehicles and trailers — Specifications

There has been an increasing tendency of vehicles owners using registration number plates which are not retro-reflective. This is a very dangerous tendency especially during the night when vehicles are parked. In avoiding the manufacturing of the sub-standard registration number plates, the first edition of this Tanzania Standard was published in 1987 and revised on 2008. The standard has been revised to take into account size of the number plates, minimum values of coefficient of retro-reflection RA and chromaticity co-ordinates and luminance factor for green, red, blue and black colour of the number plates
