TZS 303:2012 Mango juice – Specification

Mango juice is one of the important fruit drink which is highly valued because it rich in nutrients such as vitamins A, B (B1, B2 and B3), C and minerals such as calcium, iron, phosphorus and potassium. It is a yellow coloured drink produced from mango fruit Mangifera indica L.

Mango juice is locally produced in Tanzania and some is imported. As such it was necessary to prepare this Tanzania Standard in order to ensure the quality of mango juice produced in the country and that imported conforms to the quality and safety requirements. In so doing this will assure the consumer that he is supplied with a safe and quality product
