TZS 1430: 2011Tea masala – Specification

Tea masala is the mixture of three or more dried and milled/ powdered spices. This mixture can be in equal ratios of spices or depending on consumers’ preferences. Tea masala is used in the preparation of tea so as to add flavour, quality and pleasant odour.
This measure is being prepared to ensure the safety and quality of tea masala produced and or traded in the country.
