The rationale of the measure

These regulations shall apply to sugar and allied products which are sold or manufactured for sale in Zimbabwe.

Description of the measure

(5) Icing-sugar shall—
(a) be a powdered sugar prepared from refined sugar, with or without permitted colouring ingredients, and shall be of such fineness that not—
(i) more than 2% of the quantity concerned will fail to pass through a 150 micrometre British Standard sieve; and
(ii) less than 65% of the quantity concerned will pass through a 75 micrometre British Standard sieve; and
(b) not contain more than—
(i) 1% of tricalcium phosphate;
(ii) 3% of starch;
(iii) 0,1% of moisture
