Description of the measure

248. Definition of nut and nut product
(1) Nut -
(a) shall be the clean and sound edible seed, kernel or other similar parts of a plant; and
(b) shall not include food classified as cereal, vegetable, fruit or spice.
(2) Nut product includes -
(a) desiccated coconut;
(b) peanut butter;
(c) ground almond; and
(d) marzipan.
