Description of the measure

146.Mayonnaise, mayonnaise dressing or mayonnaise salad dressing, shall be a combination of edible vegetable oil, whole egg or egg yolk in liquid, frozen or dried form and vinegar or lemon juice, may contain water, salt, a sweetening agent, spice or ot her seasoning (except turmeric or saffron), citric, tartaric or lactic acid, and a sequestering agent (see Part XII of the Nineteenth Schedule), and shall contain not less than 65 per centum of edible vegetable oil.
147. French dressing shall be a combination of edible vegetable oil and vinegar or lemon juice; may contain water, salt, a sweetening agent, spice, and tomato or other seasonings; and shall contain not less than 35 per centum of edible vegetable oil.
148.Salad dressing shall be a combination of edible vegetable oil, whole egg or egg yolk in liquid, frozen or dried form, vinegar or lemon juice, and cereal; may contain water, salt, a sweetening agent (see regulations 337 to 343), spice, or other seasoning, an emulsifying agent (seePart IV of the Nineteenth Schedule), citric, tartaric or lactic acid;and a sequestering agent (See Part XII of the Nineteenth Schedule); and shall contain not less than 35 per centum of edible vegetable oil.Milk Products
