- 2. (1) A person shall not import salt unless it is in a minimum package of 100kg.
(2) Subregulation (1) shall not apply to-
(a) quantities of not more than 1kg of table or coarse salt imported for household consumption; and
(b) specialty salt.
(3) For purposes of these Regulations, "salt" means pre-packed salt whether table salt or denatured salt and pure sodium chloride, whether or not in aqueous solution (sea water). - Reference of the measure
