- 33. The following charges are payable for the survey of a ship for an IOPP certificate:
(a) Initial or renewal survey where the period of validity of the certificate is five years:
(i) Fishing vessel – US$ 30;
(ii) Ship (other than an oil tanker) over 400 tons- US$ 255;
(iii) Oil tanker over 150 tons, up to 4 000 DWT- US$ 255;
(iv) Oil tanker over 4 000 DWT - US$ 400.
(b) Annual survey- US$ 70;
(c) Intermediate or additional survey US$ 120 Survey of ship for INLS certificate
34.The following charges are payable for the survey of a ship for an INLS certificate:
(a) Initial or renewal survey where the period of validity of the certificate is five
years:
(i) Chemical tanker (all ship types)- US$ 514
(ii) Oil tanker capable of carrying specified noxious liquid substances in bulk in designated cargo tanks, per tank US$ 35
(b) Annual survey:
(i) Chemical tanker- US$ 145
(ii) Oil tanker capable of carrying specified noxious liquid substances in bulk in designated cargo tanks, per tank- US$ 15
(c) Intermediate or additional survey:
(i) Chemical tanker- US$ 255
(ii) Oil tanker capable of carrying specified noxious liquid substances in bulk in designated cargo tanks, per tank – US$ 20
39. A charge of US$ 145 shall be payable for the issue of a certificate of insurance or other financial security referred to in the Civil Liability Convention. Survey or inspection of equipment and documents, etc
40. (1) Where a surveyor carries out a survey or inspection to determine whether certain equipment or documents comply with the prescribed specifications, a charge of US$ 30 per surveyor-hour or part thereof is payable
(2) If a certificate of inspection is required, an additional charge of US$ 30 is payable.
(3) A charge of US$ 10 is payable for the issue of a certificate of approval based on the approval of another competent authority - Reference of the measure
