- These regulations shall apply only to condiments which are sold or intended for sale in Zimbabwe.

- Description of the measure
- 6 (1) Chilli-powder, or cayenne pepper, shall—
(a) be composed of the ground dried ripe fruit of Capsicum baccatum L. or Capsicum frutescens L. or other small fruits of Capsicum;
(b) not contain more than—
(i) 1,5% of starch; or
(ii) 28% of crude fibre; or
(iii) 8% of total ash; or
(iv) 1,25% of ash which is not soluble in hydrochloric acid;
(c) not contain less than 15% of non-volatile ether extract.
(2) Chilli-powder compound shall—
(a) be composed of chilli-powder mixed with farinaceous material;
(b) contain not less than 50% of chilli-powder. - Reference of the measure
