Description of the measure: 5.2 Condition of ingredients
All ingredients shall be clean and sound and in every way fit for human consumption. The temperature of prepared cold meat and cold product emulsions of mixtures that are awaiting processing shall not be more than 7
°C. The transportation of ingredients shall take place under hygienic conditions. The transportation of meat shall be executed in accordance with the requirements of the Abattoir Hygiene Act, 1992 (Act 121 of 1992) (as amended from time to time).
