These regulations shall apply only to condiments which are sold or intended for sale in Zimbabwe.

Description of the measure
10 (1) Cloves shall—
(a)be composed of the dried flower-buds of Eugenia caryophyllus, whether whole or ground;
(b) not contain—
(i) more than 5% of clove-stems;
(ii) any exhausted or partially exhausted cloves;
(iii) any foreign substance.
(iv) more than 8% total ash.

(2) Cinnamon shall—
(a) be composed of the dried inner bark of Cinnamonum zeylanic
(b) contain no—
(i) Cassia, either in the, form of the dried bark or the immature fruit Cinnamonum cassia;
(ii) foreign substance;
(c) contain not more than 5% total ash.
(3) Mixed spice shall—
(a) be composed of a mixture of 2 or more sound aromatic spices in a natural condition, without any reduction or exhaustion of their natural oils, ground and mixed;
(b) not contain any foreign substance.
