- 11 (1) In this section—
"salt" means crystalline sodium chloride.
(2) All salt that is manufactured, packed or sold for human consumption shall—
(a) comply with the requirements as to composition and quality specified in the Schedule; and
(b) be iodated with potassium iodate; and
