- 46( 1 ) Every person who—
a) operates a telecommunication or radio system;
b) provides a telecommunication service;
c) supplies terminal equipment or radio equipment; or
d) undertakes the maintenance or repair of telecommunication or radio equipment shall ensure that the system or equipment he so operates, provides, supplies, maintains or repairs is safe in order to ensure the protection of consumers and users of such service or equipment against injury
(2) Any person who contravenes the provisions of subsection ( 1 ) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable to a fine of not less than P10 000.00 but not more than P2 000 000.00. - Reference of the measure
