Description of the measure
7. Import
(1) The import of any specimen of species included in Appendix I requires the prior grant and presentation of an import permit issued by the country of destination and either an export permit or a re-export certificate issued by the country of export.
(3) The import of any specimen of species included in Appendix II requires the prior presentation of either an export permit or a re-export certificate.
(4) The import of any specimen of species included in Appendix Ill requires the prior presentation of an import permit, a certificate of origin and, where the import is from a State which has included that species in Appendix III, an export permit.
