8 (1) any authorized officer may at any time or where there is reasonable cause of violation of law inspect any factory, commercial concern, shop. store, premises or vessel where salt is manufactured, packaged or stored as the case may be, and take any necessary action including those mentioned in sub-regulation (2) herein or any other law dealing with salt.
(2) subject to sub-regulation (1) an inspector may take sample for laboratory analysis or other examination of iodated salt for the purpose of ensuring compliance - Reference of the measure
