The rationale of the measure: a) Protect public health
b) Protect the domestic and export animal markets, animal products and others who may be affected directly or indirectly by animal diseases
c) Act as a framework to carry out epidemiological surveillance, eradication and control of major diseases which can impact the economy and public health
d) Form the basis for compensation for losses caused by animal disease
e) Form the basis for compliance with the animal welfare conditions

Description of the measure: The export health certificate must:
a) Identify the animals or their products, by-products and fodder as they are;
b) Indicate the date, place of inspection and the inspector's name;
c) Indicate each of the tests and their results, if those have been requested and/or performed;
d) Confirm that the health impositions set by the importing country Veterinary Authority have been met
