These regulations shall apply to all fish and fish products which are sold or manufactured for sale in Zimbabwe.

Description of the measure
(8) Fish and fish products shall not contain any of the following substances—
(a) preservatives and food colours other than those permitted by the Food and Food Standards (Food Additives and Prohibited Substances) Regulations, SI 136/2001;
(b) sorbic acid or its salts other than in—
(i) dried fish that has been smoked or salted;
(ii) cold processed, smoked and salted fish paste;
(c) benzoic acid or its salts other than in marinated or similar cold processed, packaged fish and fish products.
