The rationale of the measure

The measure objective is to guide producers, exporters and importer in achieving the edible tallow safety and quality fit for human consumption 

Description of the measure

This measure specifies requirements and methods of sampling and test for edible animal tallow. It does not cover requirements for technical animal tallow.
