The rationale of the measure

These regulations shall apply only to flour, bread and cereals which are sold or intended to be sold in Zimbabwe.

Description of the measure

No person shall sell, import for sale or manufacture for sale any slimming-food as—
(a) starch-reduced or some such similar designation unless such slimming-food contains less than 50% of carbohydrate, calculated on the dry matter of such slimming-food;
(b) having specific mass-reducing properties;
(c) a slimming-aid without a clear indication that such slimming-food cannot aid slimming unless it forms part of a diet in which the total intake, measured in joules, is controlled
