- These regulations shall apply only to meat and preparations of meat which are sold or intended for sale in Zimbabwe.

- Description of the measure
- (9A) Corned meat—
(a) shall have a total meat content of at least 80% and shall have a lean meat content of at least 60% and shall have a fat content not exceeding 25%m;
(b ) with cereal, shall comply with the requirements of paragraph (a) excepting that not more than 6% of starch may be added.".
(10) Meat extract shall contain—
(a) not less than—
(i) 75% of total solids, of which not more than 27% shall remain as ash after ignition;
(ii) 8% of meat protein nitrogen;
and
(b) not more than—
(i) 12% of sodium chloride, calculated from the total chloride present;
(ii) 0,6% of fat. - Reference of the measure
