Description of the measure

Article 2
1. The following substances shall be prohibited:
(A) Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs);
B) Halogenates (Halon-1211, Halon-1301 and Halon-2402);
C) Carbon tetrachloride (CCL4);
(D) others defined under the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer, ratified by Resolution 8/93 of 8 December.
2. Except in cases of laboratory or scientific use, air-conditioning and refrigeration or other equipment containing the substances identified in paragraph 1 of this Article shall also be prohibited.
