Description of the measure
1. The products subject to control shall be accompanied by the Phytosanitary Certificate of the country of origin or provenance in accordance with the International Plant Protection Convention.
2. The certificate must be written in Portuguese, Spanish, French or English and the date of dispatch must be within 14 days prior to departure from the country of origin or provenance.
3. The space corresponding to the additional declarations must be filled in accordance with the requirements specified in the Phytosanitary Import License.
4. Unreserved corrections or erasures invalidate the Phytosanitary Certificate.
5. When the imported merchandise is divided into different entry points, each tranche must be accompanied by the respective Phytosanitary Certificate.
6. Only the Phytosanitary Certificates issued by the National Authority responsible for the Plant Quarantine in the country of origin or origin will be valid.
7. Where the goods have been broken up, shipped in packaging or transported in the country of origin (called the country of re-export), the goods must be accompanied by a re-export certificate in accordance with the model laid down by the authority and Of a certified copy of the Phytosanitary Certificate of the country of origin.
8. Only the phytosanitary certificates of re-export issued by the national department responsible for the Plant Quarantine of the re-exporter Country shall be valid.
