Description of the measure

ZS 018 PIG FEED - Specification (Third Revision)
This Zambian Standard prescribes specifications for the following pig feeds:-

Creep feed
Weaner feed
Grower feed
Finisher feed
Dry sow and boar feed
Lactating sow feed

This Standard for pig feed is designed to:
Ensure that pig livestock are fed rations which are appropriate for the life and production stage of the pigs fed;
Help ensure the safety of food for human consumption through good manufacturing practices during procurement, handling, storage, processing and distribution of pig feed and feed ingredients.
