Description of the measure

4. Second-hand (used/reconditioned) motor vehicles as follows:-
(b) Goods vehicles (Lorries including double-cab heavy duty lorries and trucks other than 2x4 and 4x4 double-cab trucks
(iii) be covered by an inspection certificate in the form specified in the Sixth Schedule or containing the particulars and information required in the Sixth Schedule issued not earlier than 2 months before the date of shipment of a branch of Bureau Veritas or Societe Generale de Surveillance (S.G.S)or a competent authority in the exporting country recognised by the Permanent Secretary, or with regard to Japan, South Africa and United Kingdom by the authorities specified at the Seventh
Schedule, certifying the road-worthiness and usability of the vehicle, except where the vehicle is imported by the categories of importers specified in paragraphs 1 to 6 of Part I of the Eighth Schedule;
