Description of the measure

(d) Motor buses shall- (ix) be covered, except where the vehicle is imported by the categories of importers specified in Part III of the Eighth Schedule, by an inspection certificate in the form specified in the Sixth Schedule or containing the particulars and information required in the Sixth Schedule issued by a branch of Bureau Veritas or Societe Generale de Surveillance (S.G.S) or a competent authority in the exporting country recognised by the Permanent Secretary, or with regard to Japan, South Africa and the United Kingdom by the authorities specified in the Seventh Schedule certifying –
(A) that the vehicle has been inspected not earlier than 2 months before the date of shipment; and
(B) the road worthiness and usability of the vehicle;
