Description of the measure

3 (5) The Authority shall prior to issuing an import licence, ascertain that the facility from which the drugs to
be imported, are manufactured, complies with the internationally accepted Good Manufacturing Practice Guidelines adopted by the Authority.
4 (1) An application for a licence to import drugs shall be made using Form 23 in the Schedule to these Regulations and shall be accompanied by the licence of the licensed person and the prescribed fees.
(2) An application for a licence to import drugs shall be made by a licensed person.
5 (1) A person shall not import narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances without a permit issued by the Authority.
(2) The permit shall be in the format prescribed in Form 24 in the Schedule to these Regulations.
(3) An application for permit shall be made by a person issued with an import licence under regulation 3.
14(1) The drug imported for the purposes of donation shall be obtained from a source approved by the Authority.
21(4) The Authority shall prior to issuing an export licence, ascertain that the facility from which the drugs to be exported, are manufactured, complies with internationally accepted Good Manufacturing Practice Guidelines adopted by the Authority.
