Description of the measure

9 (2) The Authority shall, on the arrival of a consignment of drugs at a port of entry into Uganda, inspect the drugs to confirm that the drugs comply with the approved specifications and that each batch is accompanied by a certificate of analysis.
13 (1) The importation of a drug for donation shall only be allowed where the recipient of the drug or the donor of the drug informs the Authority of the necessity for the drug, which shall be directly related to the disease pattern of the recipient.
