Description of the measure

11 (7) A device which is subject to verification shall be uniquely identified by a person responsible for marketing or importing the device into Uganda.
(9) An importer or manufacturer shall maintain adequate identification records to facilitate positive identification for each verified device.
18 (2) Before a label is applied on any equipment or cabling, the following requirements shall be complied with—
(e) a manufacturer or importer shall make a written declaration in relation to the equipment or cabling.
