Description of the measure

7 (12) An importer or distributor shall, before selling any equipment, ensure that the equipment meets the standards and specifications set by the Commission and works compatibly with other equipment within the telecommunications and radio communications networks.
18 (2) Before a label is applied on any equipment or cabling, the following requirements shall be complied with—
(a) the manufacturer or importer shall obtain certification from the Commission, that the equipment or cabling complies with the prescribed standard;
