Description of the measure

9.-(1) No person shall import, breed or modify (by genetic engineering) sugar cane or seed (fuzz), cuttings and seedlings without the authority of the Director.
(2) No person shall import for commercial purposes sugar cane varieties, seed (fuzz) cuttings or seedlings or other related planting materials without the written authority of the Board.
