Regulation on the Management of Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer 1. The purpose of this Regulation is to establish rules on the import, export, transit and destruction of substances that deplete the ozone layer and the equipment containing them, with a view to preventing or minimizing their negative impacts on the environment. 2. The following shall also be covered by this Regulation: (A) The substances listed in Annex 1 to this Regulation, known as controlled substances, whether in isolation or in admixture; (B) Aerosol packs, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment containing any of the substances referred to in previous paragraph. 3. Liquid Fuels and Gas (Production and Supply) Act 1.1 This Malawi Standard specifies the requirements for the manufacture and testing of non-pressurised horizontal cylindrical flat or dished ended underground steel storage tanks and their fittings for the storage of petroleum products. 1.2 In order to reduce the number of tank sizes to a minimum it is recommended that only the capacities illustrated be used. Control of Goods (Sugar Exportation) Regulations 1.Subject to the provisions of this regulation, no person shall export per month to the Republic of South Africa, sugar in quantities exceeding 25 kg except under and in accordance with an export permit issued by the Ministry of Trade and Industry. 2.
