Control of Goods (Trading Margins) Regulations "8. Goods imported for sale (1) No retailer importing goods for sale shall sell any such goods unless he has delivered to the Price Controller a statement of the actual cost to him of such goods, setting out as separate items, transport, insurance and other charges included in such cost. (2) If the Price Controller is not satisfied with a statement delivered to him pursuant to subregulation (1) he may- (a) call for such further information as he may think necessary; or (b) declare that such goods shall not be sold in Botswana. Boat (Import, Registration and Movement) Regulations "15. Procedure for obtaining import permit (1) An owner wishing to import a boat or aquatic apparatus into Botswana shall submit to the Director of Water Affairs, an application for boat registration and import permit, which shall be completed by the owner to the satisfaction of the Director of Water Affairs. (2) The Director of Water Affairs may issue an import permit and registration certificate and may prescribe such conditions as to the route to be followed by the boat as he may deem necessary and requiring inspection and treatment to be carried out on such boat or aquatic apparatus: Provided that any breach of such conditions shall render the permit invalid and the boat or aquatic apparatus subject to confiscation or destruction. (3) Fees for the issue of an import permit shall be paid as set out in the Tenth Schedule hereto. Acqautic (Weeds Control) Regulations 6. ( 1) When any boat or aquatic apparatus is imported into Botswana by road, rail or air the owner or person in charge of such boat or apparatus shall, immediately after it has been brought in or unloaded, as the case may be, present such boat or aquatic apparatus for inspection to a Customs officer. 1974-01-01 Laws of Botswana Chapter 50:1 28 July 2023
Chemical Weapons (Prohibition) Act "16. Schedule 2 chemicals (1) Except as authorised by this Act, a person shall not receive, transfer, import or export a Schedule 2 chemical or its precursor to a non-State Party- (a) without first notifying the Authority; and (b) unless it contains a low concentration of Schedule 2 chemicals to the extent allowed by the Convention. (2) A person shall produce, process or use a Schedule 2 chemical in accordance with regulations prescribed by the Minister and subject to making such notifications and declarations required under Part V. Tolerances of Poisonous Noxious Seeds in Grain Cereals, Legumes and Oilseeds Intended for Human Consumption Regulations, 2019 "4. (1) Grain cereals, legumes or oilseeds intended for human consumption shall not contain — (a) seeds of — (i) Crotalaria (Crotalaria spp.), (ii) Jimson weed (Datura spp.), (iii) Castor bean (RicinuscommunisL.), and (iv) Corn cockle (AgrostemmagithagoL.) because the presence of noxious seeds renders the grain cereals, legumes and oilseeds unsuitable for the manufacture of food products for human consumption; and (b) seeds of – (i) (Mexican Prickly Poppy Argemone Mexicana L., (ii) Convolvulus species, (iii) Common Morning Glory (Ipomea purpurea L. Roth, (iv) Darnel Ryegrass (Lolium termulentum), (v) Cocklebur (Xamthium species), and (vi) Corn cockle (AgrostemmagithagoL.), because the presence of noxious seeds renders the grain cereals, legumes and oilseeds unsuitable for the manufacture of food products for human consumption.
