Replacement Secondary Lights for Motor Vehicles

The specification covers secondary lights offered for sale as replacement parts for use in motor vehicles of catogories M,N,and O. It covers all universal secondary lights as well as secondary lights designed for specific vehicles models promologated after July 1987.
The following secondary lights are covered:
position lights
stop lights, but excluding high mounted stop lights
direction indicator lights, byt excluding side indicator lights: and
any combination of theses

This specification does not cover secondary lights for off-roads vehicles such as agricultural or earth moving machines. secondary supplied as part of new vehicles are covered by compulsory specifications for new vehicles.
