Status note

At the NTBs Forum held in March/ April 2016, Kenya reported that the discrimination had been lifted.  

Progress update note

1. Removal of discrimination. Verification was undertaken but Kenya was requested to submit the missing documents to enable the committee to finalize its work.

2. At the 16th EAC NTBs Forum held in Kigali, the secretariat reported that a verification mission had been undertaken and was awaiting decision of the SCTIFI. The time frame for addressing this issue is March 2015.
