- Denial, Delays and Mis-handling of Uganda beverages especially soft drinks and Bella wines entering Burundi, Tanzania, Kenya and Rwanda markets. Customs Officials usually delay clearing of Uganda soft drinks and Bella wines manufactured in Uganda entering Burundi and Rwanda without any justification thus causing damages and losses.

- During the 27th NTBs Forum held from26th April - 4th May 2019 Rwanda and Uganda reported that this problem has been resolved
- Progress update note

1. The SCTIFI meeting noted the NTB and requested Uganda to find out what agency is referred to.
2. The 27th Regional Monitoring Committee Meeting,Partner States noted the NTB and committed to follow up and report during the SC on Trade in November, 2018. The CoC was guided that:-
Uganda should engage the exporter to get clarifications on the issue for follow up with other Partner States. KRA to confirm during the SCTIFI and Uganda to bring more information during the SCTIFI.
3. The NTB was resolved for Burundi, Kenya and Tanzania. Uganda urged Rwanda to resolve the NTB. The agencies involved are Customs agencies. - Policy or regulatory NTB
