Uganda's denial of market access of biscuit and wafers manufactured and transferred into Uganda by Sunveat Industries of Kenya. Reason being that wheat flour materials supplied by Kenblest LTD benefited from imported wheat under Duty Remission Scheme (DRS)  

Progress update note

The RMC of 17th OCTOBER 2024 noted that the Republic of Uganda had written to the Republic of Kenya requesting some information that would guide them to make an informed decision but the letter had not been responded to. The Republic of Kenya committed to respond to URA on the information requested.
