We have COMESA certificate but Uganda is not accepting, they are charging import duty 36% instead of 6%. we are making big losses due to import duty

1. After receiving the NTB, the Secretariat wrote to Uganda National Focal Points reminding them of the FTA legal framework and procedure for verification of certificate of origin. TFPs confirmed that they were engaging with the Uganda Revenue Authority on the matter.
