TZS 239: 2013 Road vehicle — Steel based exhaust systems — Specification

Various industries have been fabricating steel based exhaust systems for vehicles for the purpose of replacing worn out exhaust systems. It has been noted that these industries have been concentrating on dimensional characteristics only, while performance characteristics, material quality and durability of such systems have been completely ignored. This Tanzania Standard has been formulated in order to give the manufacturers guidelines on the quality of materials to be used and principles of fabrication
