TZS 739:2010 Cashew kernels – Specification

Cashew kernels are obtained by roasting, shelling and removing the testa of the nut.
This Tanzania Standard is intended to guide processors/exporters/importer in achieving quality of cashew kernels required for export and import market.
The international trade for cashew kernels is still conducted in imperial units. The grade designations used at present by the trade for grading cashew kernels have therefore been specified, both in metric and imperial units
