The rationale of the measure: This Law shall determine the preventive and other measures to fight against domestic animal diseases in Rwanda.

Description of the measure: There is hereby established entry, exit and transit points of domestic animals during their import or export and for their travel into the country, referred as “Veterinary Quarantine Border Post” and shall be under the supervision of an officer from the Rwanda Animal Resources Development Authority and such points are the following: Kanombe Airport, Rusumo, Kagitumba, Gatuna, Cyanika, Rubavu-Corniche, Rusizi II, Bugarama, Akanyaru k’amajyaruguru and Nemba.
