- 229.Ceylon cinnamon essence, Ceylon cinnamon extract or Ceylon cinnamon flavour shall be the essence, extract or flavour derived from the volatile oil obtained from the bark of Cinnamomum zeylanicum Nees, and shall contain not less than 2.0 percentum by volume of oil of Ceylon cinnamon and 65.0 per centum of cinnamic aldehyde and not more than 10.0 per centum of eugenol.
