- 22. Requirements for exports and re-exports
(1) No person shall export plants, plant products or other regulated articles from Botswana unless he or she-
(a) applies to the NPPO in the manner prescribed by the Minister;
(b) provides all documentation required by regulations;
(c) makes the consignment available for inspection as required; and
(d) pays a prescribed fee.
(2) Any person who contravenes any order issued under subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and liable to a fine not exceeding P2 000, or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year, or to both. - Reference of the measure
