These regulations shall apply to edible fats and oils which are sold or manufactured for sale in Zimbabwe.

Description of the measure
Lard shall—
(a) be composed of fat rendered from the meat of pigs which have been determined by an inspector to be in good health at the time of slaughter and fit for human consumption;
(b) be free from objectionable odour or taste and shall be white when solid;
(c) contain no foreign substance except common salt;
(d) have a free fatty acid content of not more than 1,5%, expressed as oleic acid.
