- 76. Marking and labelling of diesel pumps, tanks and containers
(1) All diesel dispenser pumps and delivery containers used for the dispensing or delivery of diesel in Malawi shall bear the following marks and labels—
(a) the name, trade name or trademark and grade of diesel;
(b) the name and address of the distributor;
(c) the quantity of diesel, where possible;
(d) the year of packaging;
(e) the words “Flammable” together with the corresponding symbol for labelling dangerous goods; and
(f) the MBS mark signifying compliance with the Malawi Bureau of Standards Certification Marking Scheme Regulations.
(2) Where any such diesel is packed in bulk storage tanks, road tank wagons, or
rail tank wagons, the contents shall be identified as above in the storage and consignment documents. - Reference of the measure
