- These regulations shall apply to all canned vegetables which are sold or manufactured for sale in Zimbabwe.

- Description of the measure
- 8 (1) No liquid shall be described as tomato juice unless it contains a substantial portion of the fine pulp extracted from clean, sound, fresh and ripe tomatoes from which stems, skins, seeds or other coarse or hard portion have been removed.
(2) Tomato juice—
(a) may contain salt, ascorbic acid or subject to the Food and Food Standards (Food Additives and Prohibited Substances) Regulations, 2001 any other ingredients; and
(b) shall contain a soluble tomato solid content, exclusive of added salt, of not less than 5% when determined by a refractometer at 20°Brix on the international sucrose scale. - Reference of the measure
