- This Uganda Standard specifies quality requirements, food additives, contaminants, hygiene, packaging, labelling,methods of sampling and test for edible sunflower oil derived from the seeds of Hellanthus annuus L intended for human consumption. The standard does not apply to sunflower oil, intended for further processing in order to render it suitable for human consumption. (This Uganda Standard cancels and replaces US 171:2000, Standard specifications for edible sunflower oil, which has been technically revised).
