Description of the measure

2 (1)The manufacturing and importation of the goods specified in the Schedule is prohibited from the dates specified in that Schedule.

SPECIFIED GOODS
1. All incandescent bulbs for indoor and outdoor lighting for public and private buildings : 1st January 2017
2. All incandescent bulbs for industrial application: 31st December 2017


Regulation 3. These Regulations do not apply to specialised lighting Exceptions
equipment for specified uses, where no other lighting equipment is available, including-
(a) infra-red lamps for chicken brooding;
(b) lighting equipment for experimental and research purposes;
(c) lighting for medical equipment; and
(d) automobile lighting.
