Regulation on the Management of Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer 1. The purpose of this Regulation is to establish rules on the import, export, transit and destruction of substances that deplete the ozone layer and the equipment containing them, with a view to preventing or minimizing their negative impacts on the environment. 2. The following shall also be covered by this Regulation: (A) The substances listed in Annex 1 to this Regulation, known as controlled substances, whether in isolation or in admixture; (B) Aerosol packs, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment containing any of the substances referred to in previous paragraph. 3.
