US EAS 805:2014, Use of nutrition and health claims — Requirements

This Uganda Standard specifies requirements for the use of nutrition and health claims in food labelling and in advertising. This standard applies to all foods for which nutrition and health claims are made without prejudice to specific provisions under other standards or guidelines relating to foods for special dietary uses and foods for special medical purposes. These requirements for nutrition and health claims do not apply to foods for infants and young children.
